Guest: Carter Goodrich
Admirers of Carter Goodrich, hear hear. You will be delighted to learn that a new website, filled with drawings and other treasures, is now available here.
Mr Goodrich is an illustrator, character designer and author (did I forget something ?), who worked on films such as "Finding Nemo", "Shrek", "Sinbad" and "Ratatouille". Like Peter de Sève (see my post), he also signed several New Yorker covers. The website also features some children book's illustrations.

Hugo Pratt's Imaginary Journey - Get out !
Hi there !
Yesterday I went to la Pinacothèque, in Paris, to admire the watercolors of Hugo Pratt and get acquainted with Corto Maltese. Yes, I didn't know much about him before yesterday, but this is about to change.
You have until the 21st of August to visit this gorgeous exhibition.

Old Age
It seems harder to trust the youth as one gets older. For you are no more part of the same reality, and they belong to a future that you will never know nor grasp.
Parents and grand-parents need to let go of the fears and just believe, as they did as children when they launched wooden boats on rivers in order to reach the sea.

Eternity is quite long sometimes, so when the wind was strong, he just swept across the universe and gazed at the stars.
