For Illustration Friday : Fluid.
A funny theme for me as I have been studying fluid mechanics in depth for my studies. I loved thinking back then that everything, earth, metal, air, water, is a fluid, given a correct time scale. Hope you like this drawing, which could be an allegory of time as a fluid. Sounds so serious.

ReplyDeleteDana, for the study of traffic patterns, I think that your husband should also look for the queueing theory. You can easily find articles and short introductions to the theory on google. As for the fluid mechanics, I'm not sure which book I should recommend. A search with key words on the internet might help you, or a trip to a scientific library ... Sorry, I fear it's not much help.
