It is always a delight to observe as seasons switch, when you feel that nature teeters on the edge and is about to change. In Spring, I am still surprised when colors return, flowers and leaves pop up in mere few days.
I really feel that seasons should be more celebrated, as it is the case in Japan where every aspect of life is so ritualized.

ReplyDeleteI have not yet been to Japan for their cherry blossom festival, but I've always wanted to because of that reason - colours.
ReplyDeleteIt is always so magical to see everything returning for spring. Although, in New Zealand, there aren't definite seasons, so everything's a bit muddled, but when I do see it, it's precious. Lovely portrait with a lovely thought.
